Our client is an international I.T. solution company specialising in aviation industry with strong global presence. They have firmly established themselves at the forefront of their category worldwide and plan to continue business expansion in Asia, hence a new management position has now been created to drive further business growth in the region.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Global Sales, this individual is the first commercial position in the APAC team and is expected to grow a business development team in the long run. This is a critical and hands-on position which will take on full P&L responsibility for driving strategic business activities within the APAC territory. Identifying new opportunities and recommending strategies to capitalize on them will ultimately be the primary responsibility of this individual. As a key ambassador of the brand, you will also manage and maintain excellent relationship with current clients, channel partners and industry associations in order to promote sales growth and customer satisfaction. Internally, you will be working closely with the Global Technical Director and Regional Technical team in delivering all regional sales, marketing and service initiatives to support sales strategies.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role you should hold a Bachelor's degree. You should have at least 5 years sales experience in selling products, service or solutions in aviation related industry. Strong network with aviation industry including airlines, MRO, aircraft leasing companies or aviation associations in APAC is an advantage. Excellent presentation with good negotiation, selling and interpersonal skills are necessary. You should be passionate in aviation industry with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to drive a region autonomously. A strong communicator in English and Mandarin is required for this role.
