Our client is a renowned company with a significant presence in Hong Kong and over the years, they have established a dominant market position in their industry and due to a continued business expansion, a Cloud Architect Lead has arisen.
About the Role
Reporting to the department head, you will be a leading member of the cloud team and accountable for the building, deployment and migration of applications of cloud solutions. You will need to have a strong overall knowledge of IT logical and technical architecture principles with particular focus on scalable, robust and secure cloud design of enterprise solutions. Responsible for translating business/technical requirements into cloud technical architecture, design and actionable deliverables that will guide the final product. Also responsible for bridging the gaps between complex business problems and solutions in the cloud, as well as among members of a product teams, including software and DevSecOps engineers. In addition, you will engage with stakeholders of all levels, both technical and non-technical and providing guidance for a team of cloud architects and engineers. Lastly, you will lead and/or contribute to the development and adoption of cloud engineering best practices in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Centers-of-Excellence and Operations.
The successful candidate
- A Bachelor's degree in Computing or Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years IT work experience in designing and developing scalable and secure enterprise, B2B and B2C solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of current Cloud best practices and tool chains, including: Software Engineering, DevSecOps and CI/CD, Automated Testing, Operations, Disaster Recovery
- Extensive experience of cloud design principles, modern application architectures and underlying platform
- Demonstrated experience in identifying, researching, evaluating and recommending new and emerging technologies
- Strong enterprise applications background, with an ability to grasp the big picture
- Project planning and specification skills, together with problem solving and analysis
- Have a proven track record of managing and delivering multiple platform Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and Alicloud solutions at enterprise level
- Good command in English and Chinese
