About the Client
Our client is a well-established consumer business with a global business presence. They are currently seeking an Associate Finance Director to cover a few key finance functions within their group finance team.
About the Role
As the Associate Finance Director, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for managing financial planning and analysis, as well as treasury functions for the global business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets and forecasts, and prepare monthly financial reports. You will manage cash flow forecasting and liaise with banks for loan arrangements. You will identify opportunities to optimize treasury activities and make recommendations to senior management. You will build financial models and conduct ad-hoc analysis to inform business decisions. You will analyse business cases to support management's decision-making. You will manage a neat team to support the relevant duties and support special projects.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Professional certifications such as HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent
- At least 15 years of relevant finance experience gained from a B2C business with a regional/global presence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to advise on business unit financial performance and potential corporate investments
- Experience in treasury and/or tax is an asset
- Commercial acumen, hands-on approach, agility, and a results-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
