Our client is one of the world's leading logistics company. We are seeking for experienced Business Development Manager for their team. This position is responsible for targeting and hunting for new business with new customers by selling capabilities and solutions.
Job Description
- Responsible for exploring the target customers in the company's focused vertical and market
- Able to build up relationships with customers and dig out the opportunities fitting into capabilities and competencies
- Able to understand customers' supply chain, find the pain points, provide the right solutions, and demonstrate value to customers
- Responsible to lead and coordinating with internal stakeholders, including operation, solutions, tech/IT, finance, etc. to design and work out the proposal to the customers' requests
- Maintain good relationships with existing clients, continuously improve profitability, and dig out new business opportunities
- Ensure timely and accurate reports of target accounts, opportunities, and sales calls
- Follow up A/R and ensure timely payment from the customers
- Responsible for following the customer qualification and onboarding protocols, including credit setup and contract coordination for customers
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Master of Business Administration in Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial role with rich knowledge of supply chain logistics and local market practice
- Possess experience of prospecting and targeting customer in focused products, engaging the Director/VP level customers
- Possess good communication and presentation skills, analytical skills and understanding of the operational process
- Good knowledge of both international and domestic logistics
- Experience in establishing network of customer and business relationships
- Relevant work experience in a supply chain division of an MNC or 3PL
