Design Director (Golf Apparel)
About the client
Our client is an iconic and globally recognized golf clothing brand, renowned for its commitment to quality and innovative design. They are seeking a visionary Design Director to lead their design team and drive their product development efforts. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your extensive experience, foster creativity, and set new trends in the fashion industry.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of industry market trends.
- Organize and collect current season's color and fabric information.
- Predict next season's color and fabric trends to guide design planning and development direction.
- Oversee the annual product development plan from conception to execution.
- Ensure alignment with design goals and overall brand strategy.
- Control expenses and manage costs throughout the research and development process.
- Build and lead a high-performing design team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in arts or fashion design-related fields.
- At least 10 years of experience in branded apparel, with a minimum of 3-5 years in fashion sportswear or golf apparel.
- Proven track record in managing the entire design and development process.
- Expertise in apparel production process management and garment-making techniques.
- Strong understanding of design software and tools.
- Exceptional team management abilities, including planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and coordinating.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills in spoken and written Cantonese and English
- Immediate availability is preferred
