Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an OTB and buying strategy to meet the Company's KPI
- Create seasonal merchandise plans that align with the brand's vision, incorporating seasonal stories, features, and launches.
- Propose a markdown strategy and clearance plan to maintain the Company's inventory targets.
- Analyze sales data, category assortment, productivity, and market trends to generate timely buying strategies and plans.
- Ensure sufficient buying quantities to achieve business targets by utilizing demand forecasting capabilities.
- Efficiently manage the buying budget to optimize inventory levels.
- Propose short-term pop-up events, brand launches with vendors, and new project ideas for unused space.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to determine product highlights and plan marketing events.
- Work closely with the VM team to optimize shop displays and enhance product presentations.
- Conduct product training and provide the sales team with the latest market information to deliver quality customer service.
- Prepare timely sales and merchandise reports and present them as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in buying/merchandising, preferably in Home and Lifestyle products.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong analytical ability, with expertise in negotiation and communication.
- Demonstrates leadership skills, interpersonal abilities, and a creative mindset.
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm
