Technical Specialist-Appeal (double pay)
- Collaborate with Product Development Team (PD) and Buyers
- Ensure product quality, value, and design
- Immediate availability is preferred
Responsibilities
- Communicate with vendors about sample approvals, rejections, and due dates
- Maintain production tracking spreadsheets and document sample receipts
- Address quality and fit issues, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Independently and collaboratively review samples with Sr Technical Specialist, PD, and Buyers
- Participate in product educational classes, workshops, and webinars
- Manage tasks and duties in the absence of the Sr Technical Specialist
- Perform general office duties including organizing samples, managing files, and handling special projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3-4 years of experience in Merchandising or Technical Design
- Technical knowledge of apparel regarding fit, fabrication, and specifications
- Proficiency in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software
- Strong communication, organization, and PC skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work well in a team environment
- Good eye for color, design, and fit detail
- Flexibility to reset priorities as necessary
- Immediate availability is preferred
