About our client
Our client is a local quasi-governmental organization, and they are looking for an experienced Assistant Network Manager who has good experience in WiFi project to join their Network team.
About the role
- Acting as an internal advisor or consultant on overall networking infrastructure and initiating new network projects, including network revamping, designing, migration, deployment, etc.
- Providing insight and knowledge transfer to the team on network architecture and solution
- Working closely with other technical teams and business stakeholders to gather network requirements and feedback for upcoming project management and chances
- Managing network project development, implementation and testing
- Performing technical managerial duties, such as assisting on issues of budget planning, asset planning, IT audit, policy drafting, etc.
- Providing technical support to the team when necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor or above holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in networking, preferably with specialization in WiFi system design and operations
- Familiar with network and networking security technologies, such as routers and switches, load balancers, firewalls, wireless network technologies, abd LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, etc.
- Strong background in network protocols(BGP/OSPF/RIP), network services(DNS/DHCP/RADIUS), IP addressing
- Good team-leading and interpersonal skills
- Good command in Chinese(Cantonese & Mandarin) and English
- With CCNA/CCNP/CCIE certification would be a plus
