Investment Risk Management - Senior Director



Responsibilities:



Our banking client is seeking a highly skilled professional to their our team as an Investment Risk Director. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and analyzing investment projects, asset disposals, and asset values, providing informed opinions to the Approval Committee. You will supervise the post-investment monitoring and management of projects within the business departments, ensuring adherence to risk management guidelines.



Your responsibilities will include guiding risk management practices, formulating policies, and establishing a robust risk management framework. You will also manage the risk aspects of equity capital market transactions, offering insights to the Approval Committee members. Additionally, you will assist department heads with specially designated projects and contribute to risk management tasks assigned by the head office.



An essential part of your role will involve team building to enhance the enthusiasm and sense of belonging among team members.







Requirements:



The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline, and have over 10 years of experience in risk management at a large financial institution. Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CPA are preferred. You must demonstrate high integrity in complying with risk management requirements and company regulations, be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
