About The Job:
- Report to Managing Director based in Hong Kong.
- Proactively understand and analyze cost structures during the new product development stage.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure cost-effective solutions are integrated from the outset
- Balance and manage the manufacturing costs of Asian suppliers.
- Provide alternative cost solutions and strategies to the product development team based in the US HQ.
- Maintain and build strong partnerships with Asian suppliers.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between Asian suppliers and the US HQ.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of cost engineering experience in the toy industry.
- Strong understanding of cost structures across various product categories, including:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with international teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
