Role Overview:

The Senior Logistics Manager APAC will play a critical role in overseeing and enhancing the logistics and distribution operations across the Asia-Pacific region. Reporting directly to the Regional Supply Chain Director, this position is based in Hong Kong and manages a team of 10 logistics professionals. The successful candidate will manage three 3PL warehouses in Asia and be responsible for all shipping, logistics, and distribution operations. This role is pivotal in driving strategic projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and ensuring the seamless flow of goods within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10 logistics professionals based in Hong Kong, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee the operations of three 3PL warehouses in Asia, ensuring efficient inventory management, storage, and distribution processes.

  • Manage all aspects of shipping and logistics, including domestic and international transportation, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

  • Oversee the entire logistics distribution network, ensuring optimal routing, carrier selection, and freight cost management.

  • Drive and implement strategic projects aimed at enhancing logistics operational efficiency, including process improvements, technology implementations, and cost reduction initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including the Regional Supply Chain Director, procurement, and sales teams, to align logistics operations with business goals.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations, ensuring targets are met and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and safety standards, maintaining the highest levels of operational integrity.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing regional logistics operations.

  • Strong knowledge of logistics software and systems, with experience in managing 3PL relationships and warehouse operations.

  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategic projects and initiatives, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement changes effectively.

  • Proficiency in English & Chinese is required
