Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations:

  • Monitor cargo processing metrics, ULD management, and special cargo movements
  • Resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy of loadsheets, flight reports, and documentation
  • Arrange special handling as needed (oversized/heavy cargo, etc.)
  • Handle incident reports, Cargo Alerts, and provide rapid response during disruptions
  • Maintain equipment and asset usage

People Management:

  • Motivate and develop staff by reviewing their skills
  • Optimize staffing to meet or exceed service standards
  • Manage manpower across units, especially during disruptions
  • Monitor attendance and take appropriate actions
  • Establish clear procedures and guidelines for staff through briefings, emails, and policy recommendations
  • Ensure ramp and warehouse safety by reminding staff

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of airline industry experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Cargo operations experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Willingness to work shift patterns

Working hours:

  • Five days week, 9 hours per shift
