About The Client
Our client is a leading conglomerate business with operations spanning across high-end property development, hospitality, retail, shopping malls etc. They are now hiring an HR Director to oversee their HR function across Greater China. Based in Hong Kong, the ideal candidate will have served in similar capacities for sizeable, Hong Kong-listed companies, responsible for driving the HR strategy and leading a team of HR professionals.

About The Role

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies and policies to support the organization's business objectives
  • Overseeing the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits
  • Collaborating closely with business leaders to understand their workforce needs and providing strategic HR solutions
  • Leading and mentoring a team of HR professionals to build a high-performing and engaged workforce
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations across Greater China markets
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation within the HR function
  • Partnering with the CHRO on long-term HR planning and initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum 20+ years of extensive HR management experience, preferably from reputable Hong Kong-listed companies
  • In-depth understanding of HR best practices and labor laws across Greater China
  • Proven track record of leading and transforming HR functions in complex, large-scale organizations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin
