Job Description

Job Summary:
As a Head of International Trade at group level, you will be responsible for the development and management of the company's global trade operations. You will oversee the business and team, ensuring compliance with regulations and achieving strategic objectives.

Your role will involve formulating trade development plans, budgeting, implementing policies, and providing market insights to support decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the company's global trade development plans and strategies.
  • Prepare the annual budget for global trade operations and ensure its execution within approved limits.
  • Establish and enforce policies and regulations governing international trade activities.
  • Stay well-informed about market information, provide decision-making recommendations, and furnish accurate data to support company decisions.
  • Stay updated on the latest import and export policies and regulations in different regions to adjust the company's business strategies accordingly.
  • Identify and control risks associated with international trade and implement effective mitigation measures.
  • Set up business units, build teams, and manage team performance.
  • Accomplish other tasks assigned by the CEO.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Trade, or a Business Management related field.
  • Proven experience in global trade, with a strong understanding of market dynamics, regulations, and trade practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with the capability to provide accurate market insights.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of import and export policies and regulations.
  • Ability to identify and manage risks associated with international trade.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin
