Our client is a well-known company that has a strong foothold in Hong Kong. Over the years, they have secured a leading position in their industry and are currently seeking a Data Center, IT & Operation Lead

About the role

As a team leader and reporting to the department head, you are entrusted with the comprehensive capability development project, long-term data center operations, and growth management. You will ensure alignment and compliance with contractual, regulatory, and customer expectations. In addition, you will manage the facility's budget, including capital investment, operational expenses, and financial controls, and ensure the plant achieves financial targets. Coordinate and collaborate with other functional areas within IT to ensure availability, reliability and scalability of global infrastructure to meet business requirements. Work closely with customers to understand their needs and ensure the facility delivers products that meet their specifications and satisfaction.

The successful applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience with a proven track record of success
  • Ability to forecast resource needs (personnel, finances, and assets) to achieve business goals; earned value management
  • Background with financial clients will be a plus
  • Strategic contribution and leadership in developing strategies and spearheading strategic initiatives
  • Performance measurement through defined metrics for teams and processes
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining server/network hardware and associated equipment.
