Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Continuously track and manage a diverse portfolio of investments, with a focus on venture capital/private equity funds and direct holdings. This includes maintaining an up-to-date investment dashboard, conducting routine performance evaluations, and ensuring accurate capital account reconciliation.
- Regularly attend Limited Partner meetings and Annual General Meetings to stay abreast of the latest company developments and fund performance metrics.
- Offer on-demand support for due diligence on prospective investments, perform company research, and assist with trade settlement procedures, as well as handle capital calls and distribution logistics.
- Aid in the valuation process by scrutinizing fund reports and conducting internal assessments of company financials, valuations, and equity stakes.
- Proactively identify and assess potential co-investment prospects within the existing investment portfolio.
- Engage with both external partners (e.g., General Partners, fund administrators) and internal teams (e.g., accounting) to address inquiries regarding company updates, valuations, and to provide documentation for audit purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Holding a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is preferred.
- Strong grasp of fundamental analysis techniques.
- Proactive, diligent, and meticulous approach to work, coupled with self-motivation and a positive outlook.
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is essential for effective communication in a multilingual work environment.
