About our client

Our client is a manufacturing company with a strong and solid market foundation in the Asia region. Currently, they are looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager, who has good experience in hands-on IT infrastructure operation & team-leading and, ideally, good experience in the Mainland China workplace.

About the role

  • Leading a team of engineers, including IT helpdesk and infrastructure engineer, to manage all-round internal IT infrastructure operations
  • Participating in hands-on infrastructure projects, such as configuration, implementation, upgrade, patching, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Monitoring the overall internal infrastructure operation, such as server, system, networking, security, etc.
  • Working with external vendors and global IT teams on IT solution and resolution activities
  • Performing IT managerial duties, such as budgeting, IT policy review, IT audit, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • 8+ years or above relevant working experience, preferably to have management experience in the manufacturing sector
  • Experience in relevant technologies in system and networking, such as O365, AD, Windows/Linux OS, Hyper-V/VMware, Storage, Firewall, LAN/WAN/WLAN, VPN, DR Drill, etc.
  • With experience in SAP infrastructure is a plus
  • With experience in frequent business travelling to PRC/South East, or station in PRC before is a huge advantage.
  • Good command of Chinese(Both Cantonese & Mandarin) and English
