Financial Controller (Up to HKD 80K)

About the Client

Our client is a fast-growing business in the TMT sector and has relevant investments and developments in APAC. To cope with their business needs, they are looking for a Financial Controller to perform a full spectrum of accounting and finance duties for some of their operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will perform an all-rounded accounting and finance role for their new development. This is a hands-on role. You will liaise with local accounting team as well as accounting service provider for financial management and taxation matters. You will review and comment on contracts with corporate clients. You will support financial planning and analysis. You will prepare management reports to facilitate investors' understanding of the business performance and their decision-making. You will strengthen internal control. You will You will help to build and enhance accounting process and reporting templates. You will handle any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA qualification is required
  • A minimum of 10 years of finance and accounting experience gained from Big 4 and sizeable corporations
  • Relevant experience gained from TMT/ Professional Services/ B2B is preferred
  • SE Asia market experience is an advantage but not a must
  • Self-driven, independent, analytical and detail-minded
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
