To support the continued growth and financial management of the business, they are now seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their team in Hong Kong.

About The Role

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Develop and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for the logistics business.
• Analyze financial data and key performance indicators to provide insights and recommendations to the senior management team.
• Conduct in-depth financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and report on the company's financial health, liquidity, and cash flow position.

Accounting and Reporting:

• Oversee the accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger management.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, tax filings, and regulatory submissions.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities to facilitate audits and compliance requirements.

Treasury and Risk Management:

• Manage the company's treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and foreign exchange risk mitigation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, such as currency fluctuations, interest rate movements, and credit exposures.
• Develop and administer appropriate financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Business Partnering and Support:

• Collaborate closely with operational departments to provide financial insights and decision support.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive business transformation and growth.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's strategic plans.
• Provide financial training and guidance to non-finance personnel as needed.

The Successful Applicant

• Qualified accountant (CPA or equivalent) with a strong background in the logistics industry
• 10-15 years of experience in a mid-senior financial role, preferably within logistics related business
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Big 4s
• Adaptable to changing business environments and able to drive continuous improvement
• Excellent command of English and Cantonese, with proficiency in Mandarin
