(Senior) Tax Manager - Chinese TMT Company (up to HKD 90K)

Our client is a leading TMT company with expanding footprint across Greater China. Due to business expansion and internationalization strategy, they are now seeking an elite talent with exceptional international tax management expertise and global perspective to join as the (Senior) Tax Manager.

About The Role

• Reporting to the GM, Finance
• Lead a sizable team to formulate and implement the global tax strategy, including tax structure optimization, tax risk management, and tax compliance enhancement
• Oversee and ensure that all the group's tax activities are strictly compliant with the tax laws and regulations of various countries and regions, including but not limited to corporate income tax, VAT, customs duties, and cross-border taxation
• Identify, assess, and manage the group's tax risks, establish an effective tax risk control mechanism, develop response strategies, and mitigate the risks of tax disputes and penalties
• Closely collaborate with various internal business teams, legal and finance department to ensure the alignment of tax strategies, and support the realization of the company's strategic goals
• Establish good communication and cooperation with tax authorities, tax advisors, accounting firms, and other external institutions in various countries; handle complex tax issues and maintain the company's reputation
• In addition to the global tax responsibilities, the role would also require serving as the Head of the cross-functional Quality and Operations team, which involves process management and critical matters and issues handling

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Bachelor of Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Tax Advisor (CTA) are preferred
• Candidates with pure experience from CPA firms will be considered
• In-house tax management experience gained from renowned TMT companies an advantage
• Strong business writing skills and presentation skills
• Effective leadership and communication abilities, with the capacity to guide a team to accomplish tasks in an effectively and timely manner
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, capable of making accurate judgments in complex and changing environments
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English, proficiency in Mandarin an advantage
• Demonstrating high professional ethics and a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to withstand work pressures
