Responsibilities

  • Seek and secure grant funding from government agencies, corporations, foundations, and institutional donors to support the organization's strategic development. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective donors
  • Plan and execute annual fundraising events with a focus on engaging the community through community-oriented initiatives
  • Oversee and drive the organization's digital fundraising efforts, developing and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with the organization's objectives
  • Manage a team of digital fundraising specialists, providing leadership and guidance to achieve fundraising goals
  • Prepare compelling concept papers, donor proposals, and reports to secure funding and keep donors informed of project progress and impact
  • Monitor the performance of funded programs to ensure ongoing project excellence, governance, and measurable impact
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure adherence to relevant financial procedures for grant management
  • Take on other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the broader organizational objectives

Requirements

  • A Recognized degree in any discipline with excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese. Fluent in Mandarin is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of proven fundraising experience, ideally in the non-profit organizations, banking, or grant-making sectors
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated leadership and management skills suited for a medium-sized non-profit organization. Ability to thrive in complex, dynamic environments
  • Resilient and able to make sound decisions under pressure. Willing to work flexible hours, including some weekends, to achieve organizational goals
  • Strong team player with a collaborative approach, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality work
  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and prioritization capabilities.
  • Candidates with relevant experience but fewer years may be considered for the Assistant Manager role
