About the company
Our client is a fast growing banking group in Hong Kong. To cope with their business expansion, they are now looking for a Remittance Operations Manager (Contract) for their Operations team.
About the role
Reporting to the Team Head of Remittance Operation, you will be responsible for review and approval of inward, outward and outsourced remittance transactions for the bank. You have to perform regular AML screening and report suspicious cases and incidents to management. You are required to manage the remittance operation flow and suggest new improvements to enhance efficiency. You will supervise junior staff and conduct trainings to ensure high quality of work for the team. In addition, you are expected to participate in system and digital transformation projects in maximizing operation performance.
The successful applicant
To qualify, the successful individual must possess:
- Degree holder in Business Administration or other related disciplines.
- Minimum 4-6 years of remittance operations experience with at least 2 years in supervisory level in banking industry.
- Sound knowledge in remittance operation regulations and AML background is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical mind, good leadership and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and proficient in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager position.
