VP, Product Lead in Crypto Currency Product (Fintech)
About the company
Our client is a fast-growing fintech company with offices in UK, USA, mainland and Hong Kong. To cope with their recent expansion, they are now looking for high calibre to join them as a VP Product Lead in Crypto Currency Product Development for their Hong Kong office.
About the role
Reporting to the Product Head, you are responsible for the overall product planning and design of the Crypto Currency asset management system, ensuring that the product meets the needs of institutional clients. You have to lead product and technical teams to develop product roadmaps and development plans. You are requested to deeply understand the business requirements of institutional clients, design and optimize business tool systems such as analysis, quantitative trading strategy research, back-testing tools, multi-factor research, and risk management of crypto operations. Working closely with the technical team, you need to ensure the implementation and launch of product features are align with company-wide strategies and objectives. In addition, you will manage product marketing and collecting customer feedback so as to continuously improving product functionality and user experience.
The successful applicant
To qualify, the successful individual must possess:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Over 7-9 years of product design experience, with at least 3 years of experience managing research and development teams for crypto currency product.
- Rich experience in system development in the financial field, particularly in asset management system development and management.
- Good experience in providing services to institutional clients, experience with platforms providing financial services to institutions like Hang Seng Electronic is preferred.
- Familiarity with the cryptocurrency market and its trading mechanisms, with preference given to those with relevant project experience.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, able to lead cross-functional teams to achieve product goals.
- Strong market analysis and product planning abilities, capable of accurately understanding market demands and product development directions.
- High level of responsibility and resilience, able to handle the rapidly changing technological environment.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Mandarin required.
