Team Lead, Business Development & Client Acquisition (Web3 - Crypto firm)
About the company
Our client is a fast-growing fintech company with offices in UK, USA, mainland and Hong Kong. To cope with their recent expansion, they are now looking for high calibre to join them as a Team Lead for their Business Development and Client Acquisition dept to develop their Crypto business for their Hong Kong office.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you are responsible for leading a Business Development team to expand client base and transform them into strategic partners for crypto business. You are requested to conduct market research on Blockchain to uncover product demands and industry trends. You will drive customer growth through referrals and effective acquisition strategies. You have to collaborate with product and marketing departments to enhance targeted clients' participation in offline and online events. In addition, you need to develop customer retention, customer life cycle management and cultivate client relationships through client visits.
The successful applicant
To qualify, the successful individual must possess:
- Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum 8 years relevant working experience preferably in institutional sales in asset management industry with good knowledge in Web3 development.
- Strong market analysis and crypto product planning abilities, capable of accurately understanding Blockchain market demands and product development directions.
- Understanding of institutional clients' needs and ability to provide tailored products and solutions.
- Team management experience required, with resources in Web3 institutions.
- With overseas study or overseas work experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, positive attitude, willingness to travel globally, and ability to work well under pressure
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin required).
