Our client is seeking a talented and communicative Node.js Developer to join their IT team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining FMCG enterprise applications, contributing to the full life cycle of software development projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Node.js.
  • Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Test and debug applications to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards.
  • Work closely with the project manager and other developers to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Node.js development.
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with real-time applications using WebSockets or Socket.IO.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
