About The Client

Our client is a well-known consulting company and they are looking for Senior/Project Lead to manage government projects.

Job Descriptions

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting, in alignment with government regulations and guidelines. Lead the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to project milestones and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with government departments and other stakeholders to establish project objectives, requirements, and constraints. Maintain effective communication channels to ensure stakeholders are kept informed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and manage a high-performing project team, including IT developers, solution consultants, and architect. Provide clear direction, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project deliverables. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement appropriate contingency plans to ensure project success.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring optimal utilization of resources while maintaining financial control.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, status updates, and other project documentation for internal and external stakeholders.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years of IT project management or consulting experience, with 2 years of experience in leading a team of 10+ towards achieving project objectives
  • In-depth knowledge of government regulations, processes, and procedures related to IT projects. Familiarity with government procurement, security, and compliance requirements is essential
  • Strong understanding of software development, digital transformation and cloud solutions
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification and/or Agile development certification is preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs
  • Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese)
